Support Coordinator Shorts: Innovative Strategies for Success is a 30-minute webinar where you will hear from a Support Coordinator from Utah and their experiences working through barriers to employment for the clients they serve. Following the story you will have a chance to listen in on and take part of a Question and Answer session with the support coordinator and facilitators.
Session 2, It’s Just a Hill, Get Over It
Support Coordinator: Lara Bone
Lara will share how her personal philosophy of “It’s just a hill, get over it” influences the way she provides service coordination. She will describe how Amber was supported through multiple attempts to work and what it has taken to help her find success. Support strategies identified and implemented to meet Amber where she was on her path to employment, will be shared.
Lara Bone has been a support coordinator with Envision Quality Supports since June of 2011. She previously worked for the Division of Services for People with Disabilities, Salt Lake Act as a support coordinator and for Chrysalis, as a DSPD provider. She enjoys spending time with her husband, 3 kids and 2 Doodles. She loves spending time on her road bike and hiking.
